Win My Cars Terms and Conditions
Introduction
Welcome to winmycars.co.uk. By participating in our prize draw competitions, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before entering.
1. Eligibility
1.1. Participants must be at least 18 years old to enter the prize draw.
1.2. This competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom only, except:
- Employees of the Win My Cars.
- Employees of suppliers of the Win My Cars, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration
- Members of the immediate families or households of above.
1.3. Only one free postal entry per household is allowed. Multiple postal entries from the same household will be disqualified. See postal entry terms and conditions.
2. Entry and Participation
2.1. Participants may enter the prize draw by purchasing tickets through the winmycars.co.uk platform. Each purchased ticket represents one entry.
2.2. Participants can enter the competition multiple times by purchasing additional tickets up to the limit defined by the individual competition.
2.3. One free postal entry per household is permitted. Postal entries must be hand writen and include your full name, address, and contact information, and be sent to Win My Cars, 202 Dudley Road, Halesowen, Birmingham, B63 3NR. Entries that are incomplete or received after the competition closing date will not be accepted.
2.4. All entries, whether paid or postal, must be received before the competition closing date, as advertised on the website.
2.5. By entering this competition, you confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements to participate and claim any prize awarded. The Win My Cars may request proof of your eligibility to enter and claim a prize. If you do not provide the necessary proof or information within a reasonable timeframe, you may be disqualified from the competition.
2.6. The Win My Cars will not accept competition entries that are:
- Generated automatically by a computer; or
- Incomplete in any way.
2.7. The Win My Cars reserves the right to disqualify you if your behavior goes against the spirit or purpose of the competition, including any rude or abusive conduct toward the Win My Cars or anyone associated with them.
3. The Prize
3.1. The prize for each draw is the vehicle specified on the competition page.
3.2. If the total revenue from ticket sales does not meet the minimum threshold required for the advertised prize, the winner will receive a cash alternative equivalent to 70% of the total revenue collected, instead of the vehicle.
3.3. The prize, whether it is the vehicle or the cash alternative, cannot be altered or exchanged by the winner.
4. Selection of the Winner
4.1. The winner will be chosen at random using a verifiable method to ensure fairness and transparency.
4.2. The draw will take place within 48 hours of the competition closing date.
4.3. The winner will be notified via email or phone using the contact details provided at entry. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 14 days, a new winner will be selected.
5. Delivery of the Prize
5.1. If the winner is awarded the vehicle, arrangements for delivery or collection will be made and agreed upon between the winner and Win My Cars.
5.2. Any additional costs associated with delivering the vehicle beyond what is outlined on the website (e.g. international shipping or special delivery requirements) are the responsibility of the winner.
5.3. If the winner is awarded the cash alternative, the payment will be processed within 30 days of the winner's confirmation.
6. Publicity
6.1. By entering the competition, the winner agrees to the use of their name, image, and general location for promotional purposes on the winmycars.co.uk website and social media channels, unless otherwise stated.
7. Disqualification
7.1. Win My Cars reserves the right to disqualify any entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, or in breach of these terms and conditions. See 8.1, 8.2, 8.3 and 8.4.
7.2. Participants found using automated systems or multiple identities to enter will be disqualified.
8. Cancellation and Refunds
8.1. Win My Cars reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time if deemed necessary. In the event of cancellation, all paid entries will be refunded in full.
8.2. No refunds will be issued for entries once the competition has closed, except in the case of cancellation.
8.3. No refunds of the entry fee will be provided under any circumstances, including:
- If you discover after entering the competition that you are not eligible to participate or claim the prize;
- If eligibility criteria for entry or claiming the prize change after your entry, and you no longer qualify; or
- If you are disqualified from the competition by the Win My Cars for any reason.
8.4. If an entrant engages in any of the following actions all of their entries will be voided, no refunds will be issued, and they may be barred from future competitions:
- any form of or attempted fraud
- fraudulent misrepresentation
- fraudulent concealment / omission
- hacking / tampering with the website's functionality
- unauthorized modification or use of the website's code
9. Changes to Terms
9.1. Win My Cars reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on the website and will apply to all subsequent entries.
10. Liability
10.1. Win My Cars accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, or disappointment suffered by participants as a result of entering the prize draw or accepting the prize.
10.2. This competition is not endorsed or administered by any third party, including any social media platforms where it may be advertised.
